Lapin stops Schwarz, wins IBO Continental title

Ukrainian Daniel Lapin stopped German fighter Aro Schwartz in 6^th round to become new IBO Continental light heavyweight champion.

Lapin on Saturday in Wroclaw on undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois dominated the fight against Schwartz and was clearly leading on pts, until stoppage 2:25 minutes in 6^th round.

For Lapin was 8^th win in as many professional boxing fights. It was his second stoppage win. Schwartz has a record of 20 fights, 7 losses and one draw.

In other undercard fights of Usyk vs Dubois, Rafal Wolczecki won with stoppage in third round against Nicaraguan Roberto Arriaza. Vasile Cebotari stopped in 6^th round Colombian Joel Julio.

Ziyad Almaayouf won on points against Hungarian Janos Penzes. American Bryce Mills recorded a pts win also against Polish fighter Damian Tymosz.
