Sheeraz stops Mytrofanov in two rounds, defends WBC Silver title
Hamzah Sheeraz produced a perfect display to stop in two rounds previously undefeated Ukrainian Dmytro Mytrofanov.
It was suggested that Mytrofanov would represent the toughest test of Scheeraz’s career to date. But 24-year-old Englishman dominated the fight, dropped Mytrofanov four times to record stoppage win in second round in the fight held in Wroclaw on undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois.
Scheeraz defended WBC Silver title in middleweight. He is 18-0 in professional boxing career. Mytrofanov has now 13 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
In Wroclaw, French fighter Anauel Ngamissengue pulled of an upset victory against prior undefeated Fiodor Czerkaszyn. Ngamissengue won with a majority decision after eight all-action rounds.
Ngamissengue is 13-0 now, and Czerkaszyn lost for the first time in career after 22 wins in a row.
