Ajagba gets disqualification win over Kossobutskiy

Nigerian heavyweight Efe Ajagba got a disqualification win over previously unbeaten Zhan Kossobutskiy in Top Rank event in Tusla on Saturday.

Kossobutskiy got two points deduction in round three for low blows and was finally disqualified by referee Chris Flores at 0:33 of round four.

Kossobutskiy landed two left uppercuts well below the border, which forced Ajagba to drop to his knees in pain and for which he got two points deduction. He did same also in beginning of fourth round and referee decided to disqualify him. For Kossobutskiy was first loss in his professional boxing career after 19wins in a row, from them 18 by KO.

Ajagba is now 18-1.

In other undercard fights in Tusla, Olympic heavyweight champion Bakhodir Jalolov recorded a KO win in first round against Nigerian Onoriode Ehwarieme.

Also Mohammed Ali’s nephew Nico Ali Walsh lost for the first time in his professional boxing career. He lost with a majority decision against Sona Akale.
