Isufi wins WBA Continental Europe title
Shefat Isufi (38-4-2) won the WBA Continental Europe Light Heavyweight title on Saturday night in Munich.
Isufi won by unanimous decision against German-Armenian boxer Armenak Hovhannisyan (14-4-1). Judges Bertrand Chagnoux and Michel Maksiuta scored the fight 99:91 and judge Karoline Puetz scored the fight 98:92.
This fight was the main event of the second boxing show organized by promoter Burim Hazrolli.
In undercard, Argentinian Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna (31-11-0) stuned Timur Nikarkhoev (26-6-0), by stopping him in third round. This Light Heavyweight fight was supposed to be held in 10 rounds. It was Nikarkhoev’s first fight under new promoter Hazrolli.
Talented Ukrainian Yehor Velikovskyi (10-0) scored a big win against Venezuelan Omar Garcia (18-10) in a 8 round Light Heavyweight bout. Velikovskyi won by TKO in 8th round.
Dimitar Tilev (16-1-1) got a draw in his 6 round fight against Armenian Armen Ypremyan (14-4-3).
In the show Rustam Shamilov, Sami Ahmeti and Muzamiru Kakande all won by pts.
Kakande won against Hungarian Gabor Gorbics, Shamilov against Georgian Nika Gvajava and Ahmeti against Georgian Merab Turkadze.
