The registrations are still open for the upcoming Sarajevo Trophy Youth & Junior Tournament
The new edition of the Sarajevo Trophy Tournament will be held for both genders and the junior and youth boxers in Bosnia & Herzegovina between October 4 and 9. The youth and junior international tournament will be the highlight of the first part of the next month and the registrations are still open for all of the National Federations.
Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine already decided to send their teams to the Sarajevo Trophy Youth & Junior Tournament but many more will still to come to the heart of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The teams can arrive to the Sarajevo International Airport in the city which hosted the 1984 Winter Olympic Games and famous for its tourism. The competition venue will be held at the Ilidza Hall, only 50m near to the official accommodation place, the Hotel Hollywood.
The new edition of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships will be starting in Astana, Kazakhstan on October 21 therefore the Sarajevo Trophy could be the last preparation events before that main challenge.
Altogether 11 countries such as Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Turkey sent boxers to the Sarajevo Trophy Tournament in 2022. The number of the competitors was 82 and the tournament took place for the junior and youth age groups in Sarajevo last year.
Sweden’s Isabelle Josefsson and Hungary’s new sensation, the European Junior Champion Benjamin Nileborg were named as the Best Junior Boxers in Sarajevo. Sweden’s Lucin Seropian and Montenegro’s Tomislav Djinovic were the best youth boxers in the international competition one year ago.
