Ryan Garcia will be back on ring on December 2

Ryan Garcia will fight Oscar Duarte on December 2 at “Alamdome”, San Antonio. Fight will be in Super Light division.

CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya, confirmed that Garcia will return on December 2.

Garcia, 25, will fight for the first time since he suffered his first defeat in professional boxing career. Gervonta Davis stopped him in 7th round.

Garcia (23-1) fought 136 pounds in that fight and now will return at 140 lbs. Mexican Oscar Duarte (26-1-1) will be his next opponent.

“Here you have a guy (Duarte) coming off 11 KOs in a row,” De Le Hoya said. “There’s a guy who’s a power puncher who’s going to step up and make Ryan fight. It’s the right fight after a knockout loss to Gervonta.”
