Alimkhanuly stops Gualtieri in six, unifies world titles

Kazakh Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (15-0) stopped his Germany opponent Vincenzo Gualtieri (21-1-1) in sixth round on Texas, USA and unified IBF and WBO world titles in middleweight.

30-year-old, that entered the fight as WBO World champion, dominated from the beginning against Gualtieri, that came in USA as IBF World champion. Gualtieri won the IBF title in July by beating Brazilian Esquiva Falcao, but Alimkhanuly was too much for him. He outlanded Gualtieri 82:22 and referee David Fields stopped the fight 1:25 minutes in 6^th round.
