WBA orders Goulamirian vs Dorticos

WBA is tired of their cruiserweight champion’s inactivity and has ordered Armenian-French Arsen Goulamirian (27-0) to fight former Cuban world champion Yuniel Dorticos (26-2).

The parties have 30 days to negotiate, after that a purse bid will be called.

Goulamirian has only fought once in the last three years, when he defeated his mandatory challenger Aleksei Egorov in a great fight. Dorticos hasn’t been very active either, having only fought twice since his defeat in the WBSS final, but the clash between the two promises to be something similar to the Dorticos-Gassiev ring war.
