Budva will host the upcoming European U22 Boxing Championships
Following the Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships, the European U22 Boxing Championships will be the next highlight in the schedule.
The European U22 Boxing Championships will take place in Budva, Montenegro from November 10 until the 20th. The first competition day is November 12 while the finals will be held on November 19.
Montenegro was the host of several previous competitions such as the European Youth Championships, European Women’s Elite Championships, European Men’s Elite Cup and several other tournaments.
Boxers who were born in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 will be eligible to compete in the upcoming European U22 Boxing Championships.
There is a huge interest from the European National Federations to participate at the upcoming U22 Championships and more than 30 countries are planning to fight for the medals and titles in Budva.
The following record number of 39 nations attended in the 2022 EUBC U22 European Boxing Championships in Porec, Croatia one year ago: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales.
