Fury will fight Usyk on February, official announcement on Thursday

WBC World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1) will fight IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0) for undisputed title on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Official announcement is expected on Thursday.

Fury was expected to face Usyk on December 23. But the date was rescheduled, after Fury endured a hard fight against MMA star Francis Ngannou on October 28, which he hardly won on points.

Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank which is the American promoter of Fury, told “Sky Sports News” that all details will be revealed at a press conference in London on Thursday.

“I can confirm they will fight each other in Saudi Arabia,” Arum said. “There will be a press conference in London, Thursday of this week, and they’ll confirm the date and all the other circumstances about the fight taking place. But yes, the fight will be taking place. I can’t wait to see that fight.”
