Olympic champion Jalolov stops Thompson in first round

Olympic heavyweight champion Bakhodir Jalolov continued impressive streak in professional boxing. Jalolov on Friday night in Tashkent, Uzbekistan recorded the 14^th stoppage victory in as many fights.

Jalolov stopped South-African Chris Thompson (12-6-1) Iin first round. The show in Uzbekistan had many interesting fights.

Albanian born Ermal Hadirbeaj (17-0-1) defended his WBC International title in super-welterweight by beating former world champion Carlos Molina (38-14-2) of Mexico by TKO in ninth round.

Kazakh Meiirim Nursultanov (20-0) won by unanimous decision in a 10-round fight over Chilean Julio Alamos (16-2), former IBO World champion.
