WBC interim super-middleweight champion David Benavidez (27-0, 23 KO’s) is now very close to a fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KO’s). WBC has finally decided that if Benavidez wins against Demetrius Andrade (32-0, 19KO’s) on November 25, he will be the mandatory challenger to the undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.
