Nearly 200 female boxers have already registered to the 14th Golden Girl Box Cup which will be held on February 1-5 but the deadline is still far away
The 14th edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup will be one of the strong preparation competitions in Sweden for the upcoming 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event.
Nearly 200 female boxers have already registered to the female competition from several countries and Confederations.
Several of the elite, youth and junior girls will start their year in Sweden to prepare actively to their main championships and challenges in 2024.
The Golden Girl will be held in Sweden on February 1-5, 2024 and the invitation file of the competition is available for all of the clubs, and federations worldwide.
Nepal has registered to the Golden Girl for the first time, but Morocco is also one of the new additions to the prestigious international tournament.
Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and many others have already registered to the 14th Golden Girl.
As in the previous years since 2009, the Golden Girl will feature in all of the female groups, elite, youth, junior and schoolgirls.
A 25-year-old welterweight (66kg) boxer, Madeleine Angelsen of Norway is the current Golden Girl but she will have surely plenty of strong opponents in the upcoming 2024 edition.
The organizer of the Golden Girl Box Cup is Mr. Ray Husac who started the event with only neighbouring nations and after one and half decade, the event is now a small world championship.
