Kabayel stuns Makhmudov

German heavyweight Agit Kabayel (24-0) made a major upset on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

Kabayel stopped the “Lion” Arslanbek Makhmudov (18-1) in fourth round. Fight was for NABF and WBA Inter-Continental titles.

Many were expecting a victory from Makhmudov, and that by stoppage.

But the European champion Kabayel had other plans. He demolished Makhmudov with body punches, put him down thrice until the referee stopped the contest 2:03 minutes in fourth round.
