Beterbiev – Smith on January 13 in Canada

Artur Beterbiev (19-0) will defend his IBF, WBC and WBO world titles in light-heavyweight division on January 13 in Quebec City, Canada.

Beterbiev will face Britain’s Callum Smith (29-1).

“He’s good opponent. He’s good challenge for me,” Beterbiev said of Smith. “If we talk about my past opponents, I never say someone’s going to be easy for me, if it’s going to be easy for me or not. Like him too, I’m preparing for Callum Smith for 100 per cent like he prepares for me too. I have boxing coach and condition coach for power training, cardio”.

Beterbiev is favorite in this fight and if he wins then next step is expected a fight with Dmitrii Bivol (22-0) for undisputed title in light-heavyweight. Bivol has the WBA belt.

In the event in Canada, Australia’s Jason Moloney (26-2) will defend his WBO World bantamweight title against Saul Sanchez (20-2) of USA.
