Ioka KO’s Perez defends WBA title

Japan’s Kazuto Ioka (31-2-1) defended his WBA World super-flyweight title on December 31 in Tokyo, Japan by stopping Venezuelan Josber Perez (20-4) in seventh round.

Ioka was leading clear on points and floored Perez three times, before stopping him in end of seventh round he managed to get KO victory.

In undercard Daigo Higa (21-2-1) KO’d Thailand’s Navapon Khaikanha (58-4-1) in fourth round. Also Hayato Tsutsumi (4-0), Kantaro Juri (6-0-1) and Masayuki Uruashima (2-0-1) got victories.
