Magnesi will defend his WBC Silver super-featherweight title on March 22 in Rome, Italy against Rikiishi.

Magnesi actually is nr. 6 in WBC ranking and Rikiishi is nr. 5.

American O’Shaquie Foster is current WBC super-featherweight champion.

“It will be valid as a second elimination. The WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has given me this great opportunity. I will not disappoint him. I will not let it slip away,” said Magnesi. “The goal is the world championship, I anticipate that he will return from Italy with the second defeat of his career. I have already started training and I will be ready to demonstrate my capabilities”.
