Beterbiev stops Smith, retains three light-heavyweight titles

Artur Beterbiev (20-0) stopped Callum Smith (29-2) in round seven on Saturday night in Quebec City, Canada and defended IBF, WBC and WBO world titles in light-heavyweight division.

38-year-old dropped Smith twice in round seven before referee stopped the bout. Beterbiev continued impressive KO streak. 20 of wins he got by KO.

Beterbiev set the stage for undisputed unification fight with WBA champion, Dmitry Bivol of Russia.

In undercard Australian Jason Moloney (26-2) defended WBO World bantamweight title, beating Mexican Saul Sanchez (20-2) by majority decision.

Christian Mbilli (26-0) defended WBC Continental Americas super-middleweight title, stopping Australian Rohan Murdock (27-3) in round seven.
