The 5th Riga Ladies Boxing Cup will be held on March 6-11

The 5th edition of the Riga Ladies Boxing Cup will be held in Latvia’s capital on March 6-11 and the registrations are open for all of the National Federations.

The 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event will take place in Busto Arsizio, North Italy between February 29 and March 13 during the Riga Ladies Boxing Cup.

The women boxers will be able to compete in all of the four age groups in the Latvian capital and among them the elite athletes will fight for 12 gold medals.

The 2006 and 2007 born boxers will participate in the youth age group in Riga and the event will be a preparation for them before the European Youth Boxing Championships.

The younger 2008 and 2009 born athletes will compete in the junior level of boxing in Riga. The 2010 and 2011 age groups will be able to attend among the schoolgirls competition of the new 5th edition.

Mr. Oskars Bokis, the head coach of the In-Fight Boxing Club, is the main organizer of the Riga Ladies Boxing Cup.
