Kovalev will fight at the Fury – Usyk event

Former light-heavyweight world champion Sergey Kovalev (35-4-1, 29KOs) returns to the ring after a nearly two-year hiatus.

The Russian fighter will face Sweden’s Robin Sirwan Safar (16-0, 12KOs) in a cruiserweight bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 17.

It will be on undercard of the fight for undisputed heavyweight title between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
