The deadline for the registrations to the 14th Golden Girl Box Cup is today

The deadline to register your boxers to the Golden Girl Box Cup is today and the local organizers will be approved all entries until midnight.

The Golden Girl will be held in Sweden on February 1-5, 2024 and the event is open for all of the clubs, and federations worldwide.

The registration list of the Golden Girl Box Cup contains now 377 female boxers which means the event will be one of the biggest women’s boxing competition this year.

Denmark’s best female boxer, Melissa Mortensen, Netherlands’ Youth World Champion Maud Van der Toorn, Finland’s European U22 Championships silver medallist Vilma Viitanen, and Greece’s World quarter-finalist Olga Pavlina Papadatou all will compete at the women’s featherweight (57kg) in Boras.

Czech Republic’s European Youth silver medallist Claudia Totova, Netherlands’ World bronze medallist Chelsey Heijnen, Slovakia’s European Youth Champion Jessica Triebelova and Norway’s Youth World Champion Sunniva Hofstad are also on the entry list of the Golden Girl.

A 25-year-old welterweight (66kg) boxer, Madeleine Angelsen of Norway is the current Golden Girl who holds the Belt but she will have strong opponents in the upcoming 2024 edition.

The 14th edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup will be one of the strong preparation competitions in Sweden for the upcoming 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event and several other championships.

Boras is a small town in South Sweden and the Goteborg Landvetter International Airport is only 30 minutes by car.
