Munguia vs. Ryder this weekend in Phoenix for WBC Silver title

Jaime Munguia (42-0) will aim to defend his impressive unbeaten run when he will face on Saturday night in Phoenix, Britain’s John Ryder (32-6).

Fight will be for WBC Silver super-middleweight title which Munguia holds.

It will be main even of show promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Former super-welterweight champion Munguia is aiming to fight Canelo Alvarez in May. But he must beat Ryder.

Ryder’s last fight was against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez for undisputed super-middleweight title. He lost by unanimous decision.

In the show on Phoenix on January 27 will be also two world title fights. Oscar Collazo (8-0) will defend WBO World minimumweight title against Reyneris Gutierrez (10-1) and Gabriela Fundora (12-0) will defend IBF World flyweight title against Christina Cruz (6-0).
