Zepeda vs. Hughes for IBF and WBA lightweight eliminator

William “El Camaron” Zepeda (29-0) will face Britain’s former IBO World champion Maxi “Maximus” Hughes (26-6-2) in a 12 round IBF and WBA lightweight world championship eliminator.

Fight will be held in Las Vegas on March 16.

Will be main event of show promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

Mexico’s Zepeda last fought in September last year stopping Mercito Gesta in sixth round.

Hughes fought in July last year, loosing his IBO World title to Australia’s George Kambosos Jr. Hughes lost by majority decision.
