Matchroom announces tournament with 8 fighters and 1 million $ prize

Matchroom have announced new tournament featuring eight middleweights and with prize of one million dollars.

Quarter-finals will be held in Tokyo on March 31.

All fights will be 10-rounders in quarter-finals and will go to 12-rounders in later stages.

Draw for quarter-finals was made.  

Riku Kunimoto (10-1) will fight Eiki Kani (8-3-3) and Japanese middleweight title will be at stake.

Ainiwaer Yilixiati (19-1) will fight Kieron Conway (20-3-1), Aaron McKenna (18-0) will be up against Jeovanny Estela (14-0) and Mark Dickinson (6-0) will face Anauel Ngamissengue (13-0).

Quarter-finals will kick-off three separate fight nights with huge $100,000 KO prize pot per event up for grabs.

Overall winning fighter will pocket a whopping $1million in life-changing tournament with the action live on DAZN (except Asia) and Abema in Japan
