Taylor – Catterall in April?

A potential rematch between bitter rivals, former unified super-lightweight world champion Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KO’s) and Jack Catterall (28-1, 13 KO’s) appears to be in the pipeline. It’s rumored that the bout will take place on April 27 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, England.

Their first encounter in February 2022 ended in a contentious split decision favoring Taylor who then was the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO super-lightweight champion. Should the rematch materialize, it will once more be contested at the 140lb weight limit.
