Official, Charr will defend WBA regular title against Pulev on March 30

Mahmoud Charr (34-4) will defend his WBA World “regular” title in heavyweight against Bulgarian, Kubrat Pulev (30-3) on March 30 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

It will be first title defense for Charr after more then 6 years.

Charr had one WBA secondary belt in 2017 beating Alexander Ustinov.

Fighters held the press conference this week in Bulgaria.

“I’m a boxer, I don’t box for money. If u box only because of money, then you are lost”, said Charr.  “I will be against a very serious opponent, that has as me much experience”, said Kubrat Pulev.
