Winner of Chukhadzhian – Scarff to face Ennis for IBF title

The IBF-mandated the welterweight clash between Karen Chukhadzhian (23-2) of Ukraine and Britain’s Harry Scarff (13-2) as eliminator.  Winner of this bout will be challenging unbeaten IBF welterweight champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis (31-0-0).

Chukhadzhian, currently ranked seventh by the IBF, fell short against Ennis in a previous bout, but has bounced back with two knockout victories, showcasing his awkward style. Scarff (13-2, 3KOs), ranked ninth, earned his position with an upset win over Ekow Essuman and has won his last five fights, including a notable victory over Essuman for a regional title.
