Joshua destroys Ngannou in two rounds

Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (28-3) destroyed in two rounds former MMA champion Francis Ngannou (0-2) in the main event of the show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua dropped Ngannou three times, once in first round and twice in second.

Ngannou started the fight with optimism, but he was caught by a big right from Joshua in the first round that sent him down. Ngannou, got up and continued and in second round he went again down from a big right of Joshua. He got up again, but Joshua finished the job with another very hard right.

For Ngannou was only the second professional boxing fight. He made debut on October last year, losing via split decision against WBC champion Tyson Fury. In that fight Ngannou dropped Fury once.

But against Joshua the Cameroonian didn’t have any chance.
