Radovanovic new IBO world champion

Serbia’s Nina Radovanovic (18-4) is the new IBO World light-flyweight champion. Radovanovic on Saturday night (March 23) in Italy beat local favorite Martina Bernile (6-4-1) via split decision for the vacant IBO World light-flyweight title.

Two judges, Sauro Di Clementi (97:91) and Arek Malek (98:90) saw Radovanovic as clear winner. Judge Francesco Ramacciotti scored the fight 96:94 in favor of Bernile.

Radovanovic had two points deducted, one in round nine and one in tenth, but she did enough to get the title.
