Valdez new WBO Interim super-featherweight champion

Mexico’s Oscar Valdez (32-2) is the new WBO Interim World super-featherweight champion.

Valdez on Friday night (March 29) in Glendale, USA stopped Australia’s, Liam Wilson (13-3) in the seventh round.

After six rounds Valdez was leading on cards of two of three judges. One of judges had it as draw until then. It was the main event of the show promoted by Top Rank.

In co-main event Seniesa Estrada (26-0) became new undisputed minimumweight champion. Estrada won via unanimous decision over Yokasta Valle (30-3). All three judges scored the fight 97:93 in favor of Estrada.
