Gilberto Ramirez beats Goulamirian, becomes two-weight champion

Mexico’s star Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (46-1) won convincingly over Arsen Goulamirian (27-1), and claimed the WBA Super World cruiserweight title.

Ramirez dominated the fight against Goulamirian that came in USA as the champion. All three judges gave the victory to Ramirez, scoring the fight 118:110 in favor of the Mexican.

Ramirez became two-weight champion.

He held a world title in super-middleweight division. His only loss till now came from Dmitrii Bivol in Abu Dhabi in November 2022 in the fight for WBA Super light-heavyweight title.

The show on Saturday night (March 30) was held in California and promoted by Oscar De La Hoya.
