Anderson says that Merhy has “a beating coming”

US heavyweight Jared Anderson (16-0, 15 KO) will fight Belgium’s Ryad Merhy (32-2, 26 KO) in a 10-rounder on April 13 in Texas, USA.

Anderson said he is eager to return and promises that Merhy has “a beating coming”.

“I have a better IQ than Merhy,” Anderson said for “BoxingScene”. “You have to have a high IQ to do this. I have one of the best IQs in the heavyweight division. So make sure you watch the little things. Make sure you watch for the details. He’s got a beating coming. I always come to entertain.”

It will be the main event of show promoted by “Top Rank”. In co-main event Efe Ajagba (19-1, 14 KO) of Nigeria will face Italy’s Guido Vianello (12-1-1, 10 KO).
