Olympians will compete at the USA International Invitational Tournament

Following the international joint training camp, the USA International Invitational Tournament will be a top competition in the city of Pueblo.

United States Boxing hosted the event in 2022 for the first time where such boxing powers as the USA, China, the Philippines and Germany were the best nations.

The women boxers will be able to compete in six weight categories while the male athletes in their official seven Olympic divisions in Pueblo

Algeria, Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, China, Chinese Taipei, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Panama, the Philippines, Sweden, and the United States of America are the participating nations in Pueblo.

The United States selected a strong team to the competition including all of their boxers who have already qualified for the Paris Olympics.

Team Brazil will compete in Pueblo with their best line-ups and almost all of them earned their quotas for the Olympic Games.

China bagged seven spots for the Olympics, and these top ranked boxers will compete in the USA International Invitational Tournament including World Champions and Asian Games winners as well.

Among the British boxers, there are competitors from England, Scotland and Wales as well which increase the number of the participating countries.

Santiago Nieva leads Team Australia which has powerful boxers such as Caitlin Parker, Harry Garside, Callum Peters and Teremoana Teremoana.

Germany selected a young but very strong team to the USA Invitational, their European Champion Stefanie Von Berge (women’s 66kg) and Nikita Putilov (men’s +92kg) are also in their line-ups.

The best boxers from the Philippines will also compete in the new edition of the event and their professional hopeful, Criztian Pitt Laurente returned to the squad.

Denmark’s Nikolai Terteryan (men’s 71kg), France’s Amina Zidani (women’s 57kg), Chinese Taipei’s Lin Yu Ting (women’s 57kg) and Algeria’s Imane Khelif (women’s 66kg) are also the boxers who need to be watched in Pueblo.
