Cinkara stops Xhoxhaj in IBF eliminator fight

Turkish-German boxer Huseyin Cinkara (22-0) has earned a shot at IBF World cruiserweight title with his victory on Saturday night (April 27) over Kosovan Armend Xhoxhaj.

The fight held in Nuremberg was IBF eliminator. Cinkara stopped Xhoxhaj (18-4) in the second round of the fight.

He dropped Xhoxhaj once in second round. Xhoxhaj got up but Cinkara continued with his offensive and coach of Xhoxhaj, Juergen Braehmer threw the towel.

In co-main event Ardian Krasniqi (9-0) defended BDB German light-heavyweight title stopping Andreas Masold (11-12) in second round.
