It is time to talk about the amazing women, who made the professional boxing popular all around the world. One of them had an astonishing 12 years reigning as WIBF flyweight world champion from 1995 to 2007.

Regina Halmich is considered on the of the most famous and greatest women professional boxers of all time and she did a lot for women’s boxing to become popular and be part of the mainstream sports.

The German athlete received a lot of awards during her impressive career, including multiple times the Golden Pyramid and the Boxer of the Year awards. She retired from professional boxing in 2007 with the professional record 56 fights (54-1-1).
