The Eindhoven Box Cup finished with its sixteen exciting final contests

All of the sixteen final contests took place in the Eindhoven Box Cup in the Netherlands during the third competition day.

Algeria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Mongolia, the Netherlands, and Sweden all sent strong boxers to the Eindhoven Box Cup.

Brazil’s World Champion and Tokyo Olympic Games silver medallist Beatriz Ferreira was excellent in the entire Eindhoven Box Cup and she triumphed over the best local boxer, Chelsey Heijnen in the final of the women’s lightweight (60kg).

Algeria’s Imane Khelif, the best African female boxer, kept her Aussie opponent, Marissa Williamson-Pohlman on long and she had the skills to win the welterweight (66kg) before the exceptional Caitlin Parker took the middleweight (75kg) gold.

Brazil’s Michael Trindade progressed well enough to earn a spot for the Paris Olympics and he had the control in the final of the men’s flyweight (51kg) against Germany’s teenager, Miles Francis Okay.

The next Brazilian, Luiz Gabriel Oliveira Chalot is one of the sensations in the men’s featherweight (57kg) who looked unstoppable for Australia’s Charlie Senior in their final bout which was the next top one between the Paris Olympians.

Australia’s Shannan Davey walked over to the title of the men’s light middleweight (71kg) in the Group A while a local youngster, Finn Bos defeated Germany’s Alex Schiller in Group B, taking a title for the host country.

Australia’s Callum Peters, the Commonwealth Games runner-up, had the boxing knowledge to beat Brazil’s Wanderley Pereira in an exciting contest. England’s Bobby Wallace won the Group B in this strong light heavyweight (80kg) against Zion Martina of the Netherlands.

Brazil’s Keno Machado achieved the title of the heavyweight (92kg) against England’s Boxam Tournament winner Isaac Okoh while Belgium’s Rasul Tisayev and Australia’s Teremoana Teremoana Junior walked over to the gold medals.
