Mbilli stops Heffron in 40 seconds

Christian Mbilli (27-0, 23 KOs) stopped Britain’s Mark Heffron (30-4-1) in only 40 seconds on Saturday night (25 May) in Canada in the fight for WBC Continental Americas super-middleweight title. Mbilli dropped Heffron with a strong left to the body. He is moving towards a world title fight.

In undercard Arslanbek Makhmudov (19-1, 18 KOs) returned to victories. “Lion” stopped Miljan Rovcanin of Serbia in the second round. For Makhmudov was first fight since loosing in December last year from Agit Kabayel by TKO 4 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
