Usyk – Fury rematch set for December 21

Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1) are set to meet in a rematch on 21 December, according to the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s general entertainment authority, Turki Alalshikh

Usyk beat Fury via split decision on May 18 to become first undisputed heavyweight champion in four-belt era.

Immediately after the fight both fighters agreed on a rematch and October was mentioned as possible. But Alalshikh said the date was pushed to December 21.

“The world will watch another historical fight again,” Alashikh added on X. “Our commitment to boxing fans continues. We hope you enjoy it.”
