Aider Abduraimov is one of the youngest boxers with a quota for Paris
Ukraine’s Aider Abduraimov is one of the youngest boxers who qualified for Paris through the 2nd World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event in Bangkok.

Ukraine’s Aider Abduraimov found the best fighting distance in the middle of the first round against Kyrgyzstan’s Munarbek Seyitbek Uulu and he had the strong game play in their featherweight (57kg) semi-final today. The 20-year-old Ukrainian was a hard target for the World bronze medallist Kyrgyz boxer and he earned his nation’s second Olympic quota for Paris.
Moldova’s Alexandru Paraschiv defeated a US boy, Emilio Garcia while Kazakhstan’s Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbay Uulu eliminated Colombia’s Jose Manuel Viafara and both remained their chance alive to qualify for Paris through tomorrow’s Box-off at the 63.5kg.
Dominican Republic’s Cristian Pinales dominated his quota bout against Armenia’s Rafayel Hovhannisyan and he qualified for Paris at the light heavyweight (80kg) together with Thailand’s Weerapon Jongjoho.
