Stevenson vs. Harutyunyan on July 6 for WBC title

Shakur Stevenson (21-0) will defend his WBC World lightweight title on July 6 in Newark. He will face German based Armenian Artem Harutyunyan (12-1).

It will be one of two world title fights in the show that will be promoted by Top Rank.

In the other fight O’Shaquile Foster (22-2) will defend his WBC World super-featherweight title against Robson Conceicao (18-2-1).

For Shakur Stevenson will be first defense of WBC lightweight belt.

He won the belt in November last year beating on points Edwin de Los Santos. Stevenson then announced his retirement, but he changed mind.

Stevenson Is three weight division champion.

Harutyunyan last fought in July last year loosing on points to Frank Martin.
