The Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament will feature in La Nucia on October 7-13

The new edition of the Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament will take place in La Nucia, Alicante region, Spain on October 7-13.

A youth training camp will be also held in the Melia Benidorm Hotel between October 13 and 20 after the international competition to prepare to the Youth World Championships.

The venue of the Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament is in La Nucia but the teams can enjoy the superb Melia Hotel in Benidorm as the accommodation.

The 2008 and the 2009 age group for both genders competed in the junior age group in La Nucia. The 2006 and 2007 born boxers were eligible to attend in the youth level of boxing and for the very first time in the event’s history, the 2010 and 2011 age group, the schoolboys and the schoolgirls are also able to compete in the Boxam.

Spain’s next international competition will be the odriguez Cal Memorial Tournament for the elite and U22 boxers in Mostoles, Madrid on September 23-29 and the Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament will follow it quickly.

The Boxam Elite Tournament was the first Spanish international event in 2024 where record number of nations competed in La Nucia.

Czechia’s Viktorie Jilkova and Spain’s Yolber Bendomo were the bests among the juniors, while Netherlands’ Maud Van der Toorn and England’s Owen Ketley awarded the best youth trophies in the 2023 edition.
