A former Youth World bronze medallist, Chantelle Reid returned to the sport after seven years of break and she was not only selected to represent Team GB at the women’s middleweight (75kg) in Busto Arsizio but she qualified for the Games.

One of their most experienced male boxers, the European silver medallist 27-year-old Lewis Richardson, moved down to the light middleweight (71kg) and he won all of his contests in Bangkok to secure his spot for Paris.
