Muratalla beats Farmer, wants world title fight next
Raymond Muratalla (21-0, 16 KOs) defeated former world champion Tevin Farmer (33-6-1) on Saturday night (September 13) in Las Vegas.
Muratalla won via unanimous decision (95:94, 97:92 and 96:93) in the main event of show promoted by Top Rank.
The fight was for NABF and WBO NABO lightweight titles.
After the fight Muratalla said he is ready for a world title fight. He mentioned Vasiliy Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson.
In undercard Uganda’s Sulaiman Segawa (17-4-1) got a surprise victory over Ruben Villa (22-2) in the fight for WBC Silver featherweight title. Segawa won via unanimous decision (96:94, 98:92 and 97:93).
