Inoue vs. TJ Doheny on September 3
Japan’s Naoya Inoue (27-0, 24 KOs) will defend his undisputed title in super-bantamweight on September 3 in Tokyo.
He will be up against Australia’s, TJ Doheny (26-4), former IBF super-bantamweight champion.
Fight will be for WBC, IBF, WBA and WBO world titles, which Inoue holds.
Inoue last fought in May this year stopping Mexico’s, Luis Nery in sixth round. Inoue was down in the first round, for the first time in his career. Doheny fought in the same event stopping Bryl Bayogos in fourth round.
In co-main event Yoshiki Takei (9-0) will defend his WBO World bantamweight title against Daigo Higa (21-2-1).
Jin Sasaki (17-1-1) will fight Qamil Balla (15-1-1) for WBO Asia-Pacific welterweight title.
