Nakatani signs co-promotion deal with Top Rank

WBC bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani (28-0, 21 KOs) has signed a co-promotional deal with Top Rank, partnering with Teiken Promotions and M.T Boxing Gym for his upcoming fights.

“Junto Nakatani is a unique and exceptional talent,” said Top Rank president Bob Arum. “He is a force of nature and one of the fiercest punchers in the sport. The Junto Nakatani era is just beginning. “He will be the pound-for-pound king one day and I am delighted that he has decided to join the Top Rank fold.”

Nakatani said: “Thank you to Bob Arum and everyone at Top Rank. “This is an important moment in my career, and I want to continue bringing great fights to boxing fans.”

Nakatani defended his title last Saturday with a first-round knockout over Vincent Astrolabio to improve to 7-0 in world title fights.
