Hasanboy Dusmatov is now a two-time Olympic Champion Paris Olympics

Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov returned to the top of the Olympic podium after eight years of break and his teammate, Abdumalik Khalokov is also one bout away to be crowned in the event.

Two amazing Asians will meet in the final of the men’s featherweight (57kg) after the exciting semi-finals of the twelfth competition day. Uzbekistan’s superstar Abdumalik Khalokov defeated his Australian opponent Charlie Senior in an easy contest but Kyrgyzstan’s Munarbek Seyitbek Uulu delivered a surprise success over Bulgaria’s Javier Ibanez in the second semi-final of the weight class.

Panama’s former World Champion Atheyna Bylon enjoys her third Olympic Games so much and she was focused from the first seconds to avoid her opponent’s heavy shots. Boxing Refugee Team’s Cindy Winner Djankeu Ngamba is a powerful boxer but Bylon was smarter today and she advanced to the final of the women’s middleweight (75kg). The Panamanian will now meet for the gold medal China’s veteran Li Qian who achieved a silver medal in the last Tokyo Olympics.

Uzbekistan’s Rio 2016 Olympic Games winner Hasanboy Dusmatov has twelve years of bright tradition in the international boxing stage and after his wonderful successes against Kazakhstan’s Saken Bibossynov and Cape Verde’s David De Pina, he won his next contest in Paris. The Uzbek star defeated France’s Billal Bennama in the last edition of the World Boxing Championships in Tashkent and he repeated that performance in Paris on their re-match to win his second Olympic gold medal.

The Chinese female boxers qualified in all of the six weight categories in this Olympic Games and among them, the Asian Games winner Chang Yuan became the next champion. She claimed a gold medal at the Youth Olympics in 2014 and after 10 years of work, she earned the title at the women’s bantamweight (54kg) against Turkey’s Hatice Akbas.

The boxing tournament of the Paris Olympics to be continued in the Roland Garros Arena with several amazing final contests tomorrow evening.
