A new money prize event, the Ulaanbaatar Boxing Cup will take place in Mongolia on September 21-27

The Ulaanbaatar Boxing Cup will be the next World Boxing event in the annual calendar of the elite women and men boxers in the capital city of Mongolia in September 21-27.

The Mongolian Boxing Federation is looking forward all of the teams from all over the globe to compete in a new international tournament in Ulaanbaatar where the registration deadline to fill all entry forms is September 1.

Mongolia hosted the Ulaanbaatar Cup a few times in the recent eight years and the country was the organizer of the 2023 East Asian Youth Games and the 2019 Asian Youth Boxing Championships as well.

Mongolia qualified two female boxers for the Paris Olympics and the Asian boxing power plans to build up their next generation of talents and increase their international experience.

All of the teams can arrive to Ulaanbaatar on September 21 while the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw scheduled on September 22. The competition period is September 23-26 while the departure date from Mongolia is September 27.

The women boxers will be able to participate in the event in five different weight categories: 50kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg and 66kg.

The male boxers will have the chance to compete also in five different weight divisions: 51kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 71kg and 80kg.

All of the delegations will be welcomed in the Ulaanbaatar International Airport and the transportation to the hotel is free for the teams.

The Ulaanbaatar Boxing Cup will be a money prize event, the gold medallists will earn 1000 USD, the silver medallists 500 USD while the cash payment for the bronze is 200 USD.
