Mbilli expects an “action-packed fight” against Derevyanchenko

France’s super-middleweight star Christian Mbilli (27-0, 23 KOs) expect an “action-packed fight” against Ukraine’s Sergiy Derevyanchenko (15-5) on Saturday night in Quebec City, Canada. Fight will be for WBC Continental Americas super-middleweight title.

Mbilli in his last fight stopped Mark Heffron inside 40 seconds. He expects much tougher fight against Derevyanchenko.
“There’s no doubt that it will be an action-packed fight,” Mbilli (27-0, 23 knockouts) told The Ring. “He’s not going to hide or run. We’re both offensive fighters. Both throwing a lot of punches.
“Fans won’t want to miss this one. There’s going to be a lot of punches exchanged. I’m going to give him a war.”

Derevyanchenko fought three times for world titles.

He lost via split decision from Daniel Jacobs on October 27, 2018 in the fight for IBF World middleweight title, he lost via unanimous decision from Gennadiy Golovkin on October 5, 2019 in the fight for IBF and IBO world titles in middleweight and he lost via unanimous decision from Jermall Charlo on Sepemter 26, 2020 in the fight for WBC World middleweight title.

He last fought on April this year beating Vaughn Alexander via unanimous decision.
