Stevenson signs with Matchroom Boxing

Three-division champion Shakur Stevenson (22-0) signed a promotional contract with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.

Matchroom Boxing confirmed the news. His first fight under new promotion Stevenson will have in Saudi Arabia on October 12 when he will defend his WBC World lightweight title against Joe Cordina.

“Oh it’s true 🤝✍️ The three-division King and current WBC World Lightweight Champion Shakur Stevenson joins the Matchroom team 🔥”, Matchroom announced.

Stevenson held world titles also in super-featherweight and featherweight.
