Mouafo vs. Laurente for WBO Global title

Christopher Mouafo (9-1) will face Jonnie Laurente (10-1-1) of Philippines for WBO Global lightweight title on September 14 in Bern, Switzerland.

It will be co-main event of show promoter by Swiss Pro Boxing of promoter Leander Strupler. For Mouafo will be biggest test of career. With win he will get in WBO ranking.

“With the title win they would make big career step and could write also history of boxing in Switzerland”, said Leander Strupler.

The main event of the evening in “Mobiliar Arena”, Bern would be fight for WBO Inter-Continental super-featherweight title between Angelo Pena (9-0) and Hiroki Hanabusa (13-2-5) of Japan.

On the show Ramadan Hiseni (19-1-2) will fight unbeaten Belarusian living in Poland, Eugeniusz Makarczuk (10-0).
